Achievement

As our last week of Term 3 commences we can take time to reflect on the achievements that we have made during the term.

Achievement is one of our Core Values and can be acknowledged in many ways throughout our school day and learning from home. Every student at NPS has made achievement in some aspect of their learning. Often we think of the big achievements, however it is just as important to acknowledge the small steps we take in our learning as being significant to our overall progress.

During this time of home learning, students have been completing their work and sending it back to school to show what they have been able to do. Being able to share with their teachers through completed work, photos and conversations shows the achievements individuals have made during this phase of home learning. Learning packages can be returned to the front office.

Another achievement that is commendable is the resilience of students with the changing situations around them. There have been challenges during the stay at home orders and students have been able to adapt to home learning or to attending school with only a handful of students from their class.

Our Kindergarten 2022 transition program has continued through the use of digital platforms. How exciting to see Mrs Lindsay and Mrs Allen take the learning to our families with a special message on our Facebook page and a zoom meeting. No doubt our Kinder 2022 students were watching the post for their special package that Mrs Wilson had put together. The teachers are waiting for you to share with them something you have achieved in your package.

We look forward to when we can return to face to face learning next term and at present continue to focus on student learning and progress and both the big and small achievements of our students.
