Narrabri Public School uses the School Bytes parent portal for various things, including online permission notes, attendance, and payments, which can be accessed via a secure link. The School Bytes parent portal enables you to view all your children in one portal and process payments for multiple siblings in one transaction. It also features our school calendar. School Bytes provides a parent portal to help your school communicate with you.

Push notifications MUST BE enabled to receive pop up notifications from us via the School Bytes app, such as reminders, updates, and in cases of emergencies.

As part of our school's development of sustainable practices and efforts to keep our family and community connected, we request that you check your emails regularly as Narrabri Public School uses online communication for information notices and permission notes.

Application for Extended Leave – Travel

An Application for Extended Leave – Travel form is required when families plan for their child to be absent from school for 6 school days or more due to travel. The application must be submitted to the school and approved by the principal to ensure attendance records meet Department of Education requirements.

Request for Children Requiring Administration of Prescribed Medication at School

A Request for Children Requiring Administration of Prescribed Medication at School form must be completed when a student needs medication to be administered during school hours. This ensures the school has clear instructions from parents and health professionals, and that medication is provided safely and in line with Department of Education requirements. Please note that it is a Departmental requirement that an adult transport the medication to and from school. This cannot be done by a child/student.
