We are fortunate to have a terrific number of parents and community members who come along when they can to help out at NPS.
Often as a working parent it is a challenge to shuffle daily happenings to make time to come in and assist. We appreciate any amount of time that is given and so do our students.
There are many ways that you might be able to assist at school even if it is every now and then when you are available.
The Narrabri Public School P & C is an important part of the school environment. They raise funds and provide resources for our school, as well as provide an avenue to find out information and raise issues with the principal and the staff. Everyone is welcome to join.
They are involved in a wide range of activities from running the canteen and providing uniform supplies, organising the Mother and Father Day stalls, fruit days, BBQs at sports carnivals and other events. All these events need your support to make them happen.
The P&C meets on the third Wednesday of each of month of the school year at 7pm at the school administration building and we really want to see any one from the school community who can assist with supporting the P&C and the school. Even if you cannot make a meeting please put up your hand and assist in some way at an event. The more everyone assists the stronger the school becomes. The first meeting of the P&C for 2019 is this coming Wednesday 20 February at 7pm in the Administration building. We look forward to seeing you.
Maybe you are interested in being a part of the School Council. This group of parents and community members assist in decision making and representing parents thoughts. They meet twice a term.
Our Canteen is always delighted for any small or large amount of time spared by our families. You may have half an hour somewhere in the day where you can help.
