4L & 4B Pen Pals

Miss Lemon, Miss Bollen and their year 4 classes are doing a pen pal program this year. 4L with the residence of the Robert Young nursing home & 4B with Chatswood Public School . They have sent their first letters and are keen to get a response! Some of the students have written down why they are excited about the program.

We asked 4L why they love the Pen Pal Program.

Mia - You don't get to use technology and its fun to send letter and get them back from people.

Harmony - I like the letters because it is like the olden days.

Lucy - I enjoyed sharing my stories with others and hearing about their lives.

Tyrell - I had fun decorating the letter and envelope!

Ashlyn - I'm excited to find out who my pen pal is! I really enjoyed writing the letter.

Bree - I'm looking forward to getting to know someone new and their personality.
